  • Burger Scholar George Motz and Alvin Cailan go on an epic road trip to find the best burgers in Texas. Their first pit stop brings them to a 100-year-old burger joint called Herd's, two hours north of Dallas, where owner Danny Herd makes a hyper-regional burger unlike anything you've ever seen.

That fat motherfuker pisses me off, i just lost 100 pounds and i still enjoy my food and my booze, i just stopped being a lazy waste of a human being and took up jiu jitsu and functional strength training......... anyone who looks like alvin deserves fat shaming for being a lazy fuck, because it is absolutely easy to get rid of extra weight, specially at that scale

I've been eating Hurdburgers since the 1960's. Every single one was cooked on the same grill. My name is up there on the North wall. Double/Double/Hot FTW!

I've had some good burgers in my time. I love a good swiss, melted swiss cheese and mush- roasted mushrooms, with caramelized onions, on a burger. That is uh, hot stuff. You can get that at a number of different places.

Y'all need to go to Myer's Quick Stop in Tolar, TX. The best damn burger I've ever had in my 25 years of life. And I've lived anywhere from Wichita Falls, Amarillo, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Granbury.
