I figured this out as soon as I saw Meowth use pay day in gen 1. Too bad you can't get Meowth before Vermillion.

Why didnt you use the bulbapida real life location equivalent chart? It tells you what each town and location in the games and anime match up to their real life locations.

What if the Pokemon with Pay Day has it's own money? From when the Pokemon learns Pay Day it gets access to a bank account that the Pokemon own. Celebi may fill it up for the Pokemon can use. I don't think there would be enough time to use Pay Day in a battle, if the Pokemon needs to search for already existent money every time, when it gets told to use it.
