  • Forging a hunting spear from a leaf spring. This is the first hunting spear that I have ever forged and I had a lot of fun. This hand forged spear is designed for hunting boars with is 10 inch double sided razor sharp edge. Forging a spear is a good challenge and I look forward to forging another one.

    I really enjoyed this build I hope you did too. Thanks for watching

    @Jake's Custom Knives
    its not ok because not entire knife you put inside the oil, meaning some one part is hardened and other part is not.

    What are the dimensions of the piece of metal when you started? Mainly how long was it.

    Excellent craftsmanship. You got one heck of a Spear/ Dagger combo.

    A suggestion of adding at least two or more holes to put screws or slashing though the handle could be a practicle thing to do. For securing to a pole as a,Spear head or use for making corded handle for use as a knife- Dagger.

    Please keep up the good works and videos coming.
