Verlander smoked us like a pack of newports. Congratulations to your WS win, your continued success this season and lastly your family. Tough pill to swallow as a Dodger fan on the baseball stuff but I respect your game.

That's the pitching the Astros are known for... Good job J. Verlander.

    DANG!
JV made this dodgers team look like a JV squad. Ouch.
Houston, without a doubt, best starting rotation in baseball.

This guy's a beast. Most pitchers in mid 30's will be over hill. Not Justin Verlander. He's getting better!

As the announcer said, "Verlander is feeling it tonight"... and he sure was. From Mission Control Houston... GO ASTRONAUTS!

To me, Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball right now. He equals or outperforms guys 10 years younger than him and does it against teams that have explosive offenses. This Dodgers squad went from scoring 21 runs to 1.

Maybe the most stacked offense in MLB right now and Verlander humiliated them.

MLB wants today's youth to get more interested in baseball but will not broadcast ANY of this World Series rematch on national television. But at the same time i can't tell you how many times i see a Cardinals or Padres game on national TV. Yea, that'll get people interested in the MLB, show Cardinals & Padres games over teams like the Yankees, Dodgers and Astros.

I stg he needs to win a second Cy Young this season. 11-6 2.19 ERA 204 K's, WHIP of 0.89 (last I checked)...
