    I think if I made this, I would want to use some kind of glue on the cans as well, to ensure it holds. I think I'd also want a removable bottom of some kind, to help with fueling.

    Mix Potassium Nitrate and Powdered Sugar. I heard that it's highly flammable.
    Edit: I just found out that he actually made a video of it and made a rocket's fuel. But can you make something cooler like a FLAMETHROWER ?

    Why don't you place a rubber seal or a hot glue gun plastic ring for the tennis ball to sit on? That'll be more permanent than warping foam.

    Should have used the metal cans that the tennis balls come in when you bought them! Ether starting fluid works great
