Academics don't like paradigm change because their books and papers will become obsolete and unread/unquoted in future. They're not necessarily consciously aware of this in themselves.

Why is the bald guy there? Did you need a token idiot. He can’t follow the conversation and just keeps rubbing his bald head. This show would flow so much better without him. Spam me all you want but on a Tedx, they don’t give a microphone to the guy who cleans the theater after.

in my old house it came with an iron face plate over the wood storage next to the fireplace. on it is a woman in a robe with an exposed breast. she has on her head a ball in the location a horn might be. there is an anchor she is leaning on, or holding, with her right hand. the anchor has one of the points on the bottom curve slightly going up her robe/dress. there is a sort of "face" with something coming out of it touching the other anchor point. she is pointing skyward slightly. if you follow her finger and bounce it of the frame it might go to a sphere behind her... i'll have to look to see if the sphere has "hair".

i had a lot of comments i had in mind that i said no to posting, but at 2:26:21 joe had asked the right question. then he didn't ask it again. why 600 then? what makes 72X600 an obvious choice? we can play math games all day, but he asked why 43,200... he should then ask "why multiply 72 by 600?"

I've only listened to the 46:00 mark so far. Even so, what about, Hudson Bay? Seems to me that a Comet as big as the one mentioned would be the culprit. What else would make the glaciers melt so fast?
Mof, I think it's perfect. Hudson Bay has to be an LZ for a comet strike.

Maybe these guys will mention it.

Speaking of baselines, the baseline for the planet earth is zero permanent ice. Ice ages are the exception, not the rule for planet earth. This notion that the glaciation that we had 200 years ago is the baseline is a “useful misdirection” for the politics of climate change. As is the notion that everything will be worse if the planet warms up. Really? No benefits to the plant and animals anywhere? And everyone accepts this notion as true? Amazing how closed- minded the subject is...and how much the geo-political manipulators have learned about controlling the masses.
