    I can relate.
One time I was at one of my favorite mountains. Ready to start my 2nd year of skiing. But, I forgot how to turn and do other motions because like I said, it was the 1st run of the season. So I just start going down the hill and because you’re supposed to turn because it slows you down and that keeps you from going supersonic speed down the hill. So I went down and was speeding up. And then my brain was like “oh no. I have made a huge mistake.” So I’m like full speed at this point and you know those like safety net thingys that say “slow skiing” or something like that, well, I almost hit one, I was very very very close to hitting it, but I missed. Then I was worried because I got to the bottom there was a line to the lift and I tried to turn, but, that didn’t end well. I didn’t hurt anybody, but when I made contact with the line, I knocked someone’s pole out of their hand and then I did a starfish until I got to the back of the line. Then a couple people ran to the back and was like “are you ok, kid?” And I was like “yeah” I was embarrassed by what I did so I was tearing up a little under my goggles. But then my dad helped me feel comfortable again and it was all fine. Currently at the time of me making this comment it’s October and every time I think of skiing, I just repeat in my mind most of what I learned that season, so it doesn’t happen again. And that’s it! The End
Edit: sorry for the long comment

I never EVER actually experienced playing with real snow. The only snow that I've played with were very icy ones. Were they even snow???
