@Bast films bring enjoyment to people is that not important? What about comedic actors, humour is an important thing to have in this world. I personally wouldn't want to be in a world without comedy or music ao it's all relevant. I can't remember who is was but an actor once said he was going to become a doctor and his mum said no become an actor everyone needs to be entertained!

@Andrew G acting as opposed to being in STEM - a career that utilizes high intelligence. acting is playing pretend. if she is so smart (which i doubt honestly) acing is not contributing much

She is incredibly classy while talking about two very uncomfortable topics. It would be very disheartening to see an old friend either transform into or reveal himself as a monster. And talking about veganism without being judgemental is difficult because ir is a moral issue where she disagrees with the majority of people in the world. But she walks that fine line with grace. Good for her.

I actually googled Jared K after this comment to see if he was some convicted serial killer.

melissa thompson Specifically What behavior and actions? I'm curious to hear a few, though you are probably busy - as we all should be.

I admire Natalie Portman for standing up for what she believes in. Despite probably already knowing there's going to be backlash, she decided not to go to Israel to receive the Genesis prize because of Israeli government treatment of Palestinians

@sawadee how is she a hypocrite? Judgemental much!? Get off your high horse!

She is a fucking court jester. She sings, dances, acts, and tells jokes for our enjoyment. No one cares about her opinions, and if anyone makes a decision or has a belief based on her opinions, is a moron too.

3:03 Natalie Portman missed an opportunity to reprise that line: "So this is how Liberty dies; with thunderous applause."

I love how she just accepts everyone no matter what they decide when it comes to their diets... she doesnt judge people for eating animals because its their choice, not hers, and shes not preaching about it either...she is just a vegan and tries to explain why she is one, not why others should be. If only all vegans were like her

I eat meat and I 100% agree with what she is talking about. Our current system is not sustainable nor is it humane.

If all vegans approached the problem like her, i'm damn sure they wouldn't be as hated by everyone. She doesn't vilify people for eating meat nor does she scream in their faces about it.

As a long-time vegetarian Nathalie, the whole 'what if carrots had feelings, Natalie?!' hit very close to home. I also subscribe to not judging others for what they eat! All I hope is for people to be a little more conscious about what they eat and where it came from, and try to make choices that are better for the world when they can.
