    I'm pretty sure the sulfuric acid didn't do much to the shell because it didn't have enough water in it.

    there is a long tradition of making decorated eggs by selectively dissolving off layers of shell using a wax resist. ... could be really cool to adapt that idea to some seashells!
    hmmm.... time for a new project for me.

    I find this interesting because my friend had lice over the summer. So we put her shell necklace in vinegar and it just totally dissolved

    How does the shells react to being Freeze Dried since the egg did not like it what would a shell do would it explode?
