I should really start picking up what the actual rules are
Notice how rizzo is shown more than anyone? That's why hes the best 1st baseman in the league.
Sorry rookies infield fly rule still applies. Anyone who purposefully lets a fly drop with 2 outs is a moron.
7:03 Was absolutely flawless
Ok so Rizzo dropped his glove so that he could catch Lester's glove. And the commentators go wild about how smart that was.But then the play at 2:35, the yankees first baseman does NOT drop his glove yet still records the out. Which is it? One of those plays wasn't so smart after all
Aj pierzynski's dropped ball swinging strike 3 then running to 1st as the Angel's thought inning was over was the best headsup baseball providing circumstances. Should have been shown..
as an European... I have no idea what da fuck is going on here...
6:30 Could someone explain why letting foul ball drop is a smart play?
Is it just me or does pedroia look like a mole
6:09 I’m pretty sure some casual fans have no idea how this a smart play.
Like how 90% of these should be infield fly rule
Don't get me wrong these steals, extra bases, and defensive plays are great, but what about really great offensive plays like a squeeze, or more home plate steals from 3rd when 1st base goes to 2nd? Offense in baseball takes as much brain as defense when you get to that level.
Can anyone explain why Halladay not catching a foul ball is a smart play? Arent you essentially not getting an out that you couldve had? (New to baseball)
On Helton's hidden ball play, that 1st base coach should have been yelling to the runner to stay on the bag. Maybe he did, but if so, he should have yelled louder.
2:08 should that not be obstruction on the runner? Putting a tag with no ball impedes him from going to first.
2:22 Manny just faked out the cameraman
4:30 The pitcher has the ball and is on the mound so shouldn't that be a dead play?
You can't tag from there on the Haniger play. I think that drop was bad.
6:05 Ichiro is a genius.
