Aha I have some things that will save all starters. Eevee is technically a starter Pokémon and they have the exact gender racio as all the other Pokémon. Why does that matte? Because Pokémon bread the hell out of eevees! So much so that in later game you can actually find them in the wild. It’s all because of you shinny Hunter breading them like crazy. Hey if it worked for Eevee then it can work for all other starters.

There's no reason to think that every starter species has the same sex ratio, nor is there any actual direct evidence that they're going anywhere, let alone to oblivion. We even see a little of this discussed in the anime in Kalos, where the lab is just throwing out starters at whoever because "LOL WHY NOT", something that surely wouldn't be occurring if they were going extinct (I know, different universes, but very closely related ones). This is just an assumption that a game mechanism that happens to control the ratio at which professors happen to hand out Pokemon to you, the player, specifically, is representative of the sex ratios in wild or captive populations, which isn't a premise that actually holds. This ratio really just is the ratio that you, that one person, happens to receive that one Pokemon from that one professor, which a game can write to be whatever it wants for that particular story event (including 100% males, or females, and it wouldn't mean that's the sex ratio of any population!). Saying this must now represent population sex ratios is like saying that 100% of magikarp in the Lake of Rage must be shiny, just because it's a story event that 100% of the time the player encounters a red gyarados.

There's not even some plausible mechansim by which all starters would specifically happen to be subject to such a ratio. They're wildly different species, from wildly different places.

The real sad guy are dittos which are on their way of dying out.

The only other possibility is that they only seem to give birth to other pokemons and they are in real all dittos which still have to evolve to dittos the moment noone looks. But that is just a theory...

Charmander is in the thumbnail yet ironically is the only starter to survive the snap that is Pokemon: Sword and Shield
