People are forgetting, there are two Labo kits - a variety kit and the robot man kit. The variety kit is $70 BUT it comes with 5 games and cardboard templates. Not 1, but 5. It seems like the price is worth it to me.

Moozy sounds like Action 52 all over again. not just 1 , but 5 shitty games.

LiberatedLegion knowing what you are buying is not being a nerd. I think you should just go back to playing fortnite

I'd enjoy it if people stopped calling it just cardboard. There is a fully fledged game in there as well. The price makes sense.

Jimmy Dinh It isn't cancer and this video is not picking sides, it is talking about other people who don't like it. That isn't cancer, it is news

ghostpeyton this isn't them selling the console to new people, it's them advertising to people who already have a switch. It isn't it's own console btw, it is a switch accessory and game. If you think the switch is dumb then you are just an idiot who thinks graphics is the only good part to gaming. The switch has a variety of neat games and ports + you can play all of them ON THE GO, and no I don't mean cooking mama, I mean Skyrim, Doom, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Splatoon 2, Rocket Leagu...

I'd like to point that cardboard isn't as fragile as many people think. Yes, they're weak to Diet Coke spillings but... so is your usual controller. You can even make furniture out of cardboard. And seriously, if Nintendo didn't come up with that kind of ideas... who would? No other big company dares to experiment the way Nintendo do.

For cryin' out loud! It's a $60 game and $10 for about 15 sheets of good quality perforated cardboard. Please stop talking like it's $70 for cardboard.

That is, rather than pay $100 aud for the game with some cardboard. But you are missing that it isnt just cardboard they are selling. There is also strings and heat reflective tape. So if they wanted to they could totally just sell the kits on their own with no other way to get these pieces. It wouldnt be at all farfetched

TBH I would rather pay $60-70 aud for the game on its own and then use crappy cheap cardboard as two cereal boxes glued together or something.

  • TheIcy GamerKid

     (Feb 24, 2018)

The Cardboard is only $70-$80 because I believe that the Nintendo Labo game is $60 and the cardboard is $10-$20. So if you think about it. It's an ok price.

    Agreed

  • Shan Ryder

     (Feb 23, 2018)

I think the Labo is amazing. Also, the price is fair if you consider the fact that it comes with a game and like every Nintindo product, we're dealing with early supply and demand cost. Right now, there's a high demand so the price is higher than you think is fair. As time goes on and demamd lowers, so will the cost

XMAEST a single game typically is sold at $60 and there are 5 games each about a $10 kind of game. That is $50. Then the cardboard which has sensors sneakily hidden in a few of them. Then with the robot kit it seems like a $30 game and then the cardboard and strings that work the machinery add up to about $25, so yeah it isn't really unreasonable

  • Bender

     (May 7, 2018)

XMAEST game $60 then the bonus stuff in the edition $15 sculptures $30 maps $10. Yeah pretty close

  • Ziizoe

     (Feb 23, 2018)

its not $70 cardboard its a $60 game with $10 cardboard attachments and i hate it when people forget that there's a game included in that $70

  • Gastro Acid

     (Aug 28, 2018)

Nintendos team who made this should be fired.

  • Scooter Campbell

     (Apr 19, 2018)

Can you buy the cardboard separately, or only in a bundle with the game. If it's the latter, then it's $70 cardboard.
