The only problem I have with this, you do NOT use paper towel to clean/dry/season. Use a lint free towel.

They work very well for lightly searing a steak and then finishing it in the oven. It works especially well for a thick steak! I saw a well known chef on Food Network demonstrate this! These pans only take more time to season when they are new. They work better the older they get! Thanks for the video.

I have to say, with the help of this video I have purchased & seasoned my 12” lodge. I’ll be cooking my first meal on it today. It’s a lot of work but, it truly is rewarding.
