I was about to post about the wrong date, but I see your post underneath. I just wanted to let you know you are by far the best when it comes to your Disneyland videos. I do the same thing sometimes by switching words. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. You are 100% awesome.

Smugglers run is easily the best and only ride in Star Wars galaxy's edge. What if they add an underwater mission with water squirting from some places? The only drawback is that the rides probably not waterproof. Maybe another ride with you and a couple other players in xwings? That would be cool. These are just ideas I have after he mentioned it was a water ride 😴👩🏻‍🚀

I never rode the Keel boats. didn't know they were around and I had been to Disneyland many times growing up when the ride was around.

Keelboats at Disneyland Paris are no longer in operation to guests but still maintained to respond in an unlikely case of an evacuation of Rivers of the far West or Big Thunder Mountain in the unlikely event a fire occurs and prevents evacuation from the tunnels nor the floating bridges

I was there the day the keel boat capsized. I was maybe about 10 years old and I was on Discovery Island with my dad 2 brothers and cousin. We were all playing hide and seek in the caves and it was my dads turn to find us. After 5-10 minutes of hiding and not being found, we went looking for my dad and he was in the water helping children and elderly folk out of the water off the capsized boat. Disney gave my dad a new change of clothes and shoes and bought my family dinner that night. I will never forget those boats.

I remember riding this. As the canoes went by, the skipper said we made the right choice by picking the ride that didn't force us to work. There was also some kind of joke about "keeling over" but I'm sure no one ever thought it would actually happen.

I rode this ride once in the early years at Walt Disney World (probably '73 or '74; I would have been about 10). Having ridden the riverboat a few times before, I wasn't really impressed with this ride. It didn't take many people at once so it was a bit of a wait to get on it. My overall impression was kind of "meh". We may have gone one it once more, but that would have been it. Still, I found myself missing their presence when they wen't away. They seemed to be a part of the Rivers of America.

    I love these videos!
You should do one on the 1,000 leagues under the sea attraction. That was my favorite at Disney World!

Why does the narration have to be done by a synthetic robotic voice? can't we have a human being doing the voice over?

I recently found out that the Keelboats were no more, I worked the Mike Fink Keel Boats and the Liberty Square Riverboats Adm. Joe Fowler & Richard Irving at WDW in 1973-1974, sweet memories.

My parents took my sister and I on the top level of a keel boat at WDW back in 1996 (I was an infant, my sister was 3). The operator ran it aground and guests got caught in the trees. My parents got lots of freebies from Disney on that trip.
