This is one of only three humans, that went down 11km to the deepest part of the ocean. More people went to the moon. Let that sink in...

Not just a solid film director, but also a knowledgeable mind about society, politics, physics, history and science. Great stuff.

I don't care what anyone says about Avatar or how much they bash Titanic, this man is one of the great visionary directors of the 20th century. Absolute genius and an incredible storyteller.

I feel bad now for all the hate I’ve given “Titanic” and “Avatar” (I definitely respect their significance to modern film making, just not a big fan of either), this man is clearly much smarter and cooler than me and most people I can think of.

Yeah, love or hate his movies but you got to give props to the man that he stops at nothing to fulfill his larger than life vision crafting all corners of the frame with a keen and astute eye that shows on screen. What irks me is how his detractors talked down on him like he's an idiot and they know better about the filmmaking craft than him.

James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is... James Cameron.
