Sam Neill returns as Dr. Alan Grant, a scientist who's tricked by wealthy couple Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Tea Leoni) into a fly-over of Isla Sorna. The object of their sightseeing tour is one of the Costa Rican islands populated by ferocious, genetically bred dinosaurs and the "site B" setting of Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World (1997). After their plane crash-lands, it's revealed that the Kirbys are actually seeking their teenage son, lost on the island after a paragliding accident. Trapped on Isla Sorna, Grant and his companions discover some painful truths the hard way. Among their discoveries: some of the scaly monsters possess more advanced communicative abilities than previously believed, the dreaded Tyrannosaurus Rex has a larger and more lethal competitor, and flying Pteranodons pose an even graver threat than some of their land-locked brethren. Jurassic Park III is the first in the series not to be based upon a novel by original author Michael Crichton.CREDITS:TM & © Universal (2001)Cast: William H. I think the Alpha is addressing her, not cus she thinks she stole the eggs but because shes female and they see females as the ones in charge. Sort of like how Hyena clans are run by the Alpha female.

The raptors seem to get smarter in every Jurassic Park movie... in Jurassic Park 4, they will be wearing white lab coats and writing computer viruses to sabotage the humans laptops...

In some comments question arises: why the raptors didn't kill humans after getting the eggs? This is my theory:
    Billy said: Call for help.
And Grant attempted that sound. Lets assume it did sound like a call for help. Then at 2:09 the raptors hear helicopters. Since they are pretty smart, they could have assumed that the call for help was heard and now other humans are on the way. Not wanting to risk the eggs in a  battle, raptors decided to withdraw.
Also, I'm sure that like most animals, raptors kill when hungry or when territory threaten. Once they got the eggs back, they could have just left, having no reason to kill.

As much as JP3 was a disappointment, I love the look of the raptors in this one

The raptors in JP3 were, in my opinion, the best the raptors have ever been. They displayed so much more intelligence and communication to the point that you could argue that they had sentience. That level of intelligence, like when they played on human emotion when setting up a trap, is more terrifying and interesting than anything displayed by raptors in the other movies.

0:42 Looks realer than ANYTHING in Jurassic World.  They should have kept the animatronics, at least for the slow, close-up shots.

When grant blew the raptor horn, the raptors though that was calling for help from his own species, and the alpha female told the others to quiet down, because she can hear the helicopters (listen carefully when she looks up) and then they left in fear

She must have smelt Billy's scent on her...I wonder how that would have happened.

when I first saw this, I actually thought Grant was communicating with them, but if you listen closely at 2:08, you can hear distant helicopter sounds. Perhaps they heard the sounds and figured they better take their eggs and get them to safety. This is just my theory.
