    I think Liu just went like "Fuck it; I already got a medal anyway" to just straight up give up before the start of the first pull like that. It'd be really cool of him to have done that for Li out of respect, so that both of them could go home with a gold medal instead of just him.

    Everyone is looking at the squat and jerk parts of the lift. Does no one realize how much grip strength is needed at that weight to do a double overhand grip? Elite grip.
