    We use both baking soda and baking powder so it will taste like aluminim foil AND soap!

    Here's to the metric system:
    DRY INGREDIENTS
    408 grams of plain flour
    3tbs sugar
    1tsp bicarbonate soda
    1tsp baking powder
    WET INGREDIENTS
    650 ml buttermilk
    113 grams of melted butter
    2 eggs separated

    DRY INGREDIENTS
    2 1/2 cups flour
    3tbs sugar
    1tsb baking powder and soda
    2tsb salt
    WET INGREDIENTS
    650ml buttermilk/milk
    1 stick of melted butter
    2 eggs separated
    INSTRUCTIONS
    Rest batter 15-30 minutes
    Use cast iron on medium heat add butter to pan and put 1 cup pankake mix in pan. Let sit for 5 minutes or until you see air bubbles then flip and let cook on other side for 1-2 minutes.

    In russia/belarus/ukraine we use kefir instead of milk/buttermilk. No butter, fewer eggs and only soda - the pancakes become even thicker and fluffier than these and have probably 10x less calories
