Yall don't know how to do tofu. You need to marinate your tofu!!! It gets rid of that nasty plain tofu taste. Using a medium firm/traditional tofu and double freezing it (keep in package, freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw, drain and press) gives it a meatier texture, and helps it better absorb flavour. I make tofu fried "chicken" all the time and you would never be able to tell it's tofu. I don't even remember the last time I used extra firm tofu. Seriously, upgrade your tofu game because this is some basic shit lol

Try tempeh if you don’t like tofu! It’s essentially the same ingredients but the soybean is left in large pieces so it has some texture and doesn’t get mushy!
