im lifting 400kg the trainer looking at me
I saw The Great Strongman of the 1950's Paul Anderson, also known by many as the "Dixie Derrick," dead lift 850 lbs. barefooted during the Virginia "State" Olympic Weightlifting Championship in the year of 1965...and it was not that difficult for him. I stood there astounded. Remember that was over 50 years ago...incredible. Remember many of the Strong Man feats that Paul Anderson performed were never recorded for posterity. Why? Because back in those early days we were all "Amateur Athletes." Sadly Paul Anderson lost his Amateur status when he received monies for strength shows he would put on for the public. Those monies he made went towards a home for wayward Boys. A "Christian Home" as Paul was a Christian. I met him that day and I must say for all who never met him that Paul Anderson was by every stretch a Gentleman, not ever exalting himself above anyone as His Strength was the witness bearer requiring no one to have to say a word after his performance.. Yes he was a real Gentleman and it was a Privilege to have had the opportunity to meet and speak with him. (By the way I received my Trophy for first Place in the State championships that year from Paul.)...."friendfromyesteryear"
Man Nordic genes appear to be the strongest on earth.
These guys have no idea how to lift. No wonder they've all had multiple surgeries. Sure they lift heavy, but their form is horrible. Just accidents waiting to happen. And they do happen. Every single one of them has major injuries.
If anyone ever has doubt that eddie isnt the strongest man ever, show them this. Eddie litterally warmed up with the WORLD RECORD DEADLIFT
los dedos la manos si que resisten ahora ya me preocupo
11:50 the maniliest hug ever
Thoughts and theories on them deadlifting with really wide stance. I switched to wider stance and it feels better, and I feel stronger. It does at an inch or so to the motion.
Why is that announcer in shorts? Super disrespectful
Where's the 210lb Russian who sumo dead lifts more than most of these guys?! He couldn't touch Hall but he damn well should be there.
It's crazy how some of these guys are about my height but weigh nearly 400 lbs. Christ. And my wife thinks I'm heavy at 200. These guys must have special beds at home.
I'm 19 and I can deadlift 675 x 2, is that good?
Meanwhile I’m doing 45 lb plates on each sides 😂
they need to stop having strongmen become commentators... Mark Henry, the first-to-900lbs guy here, they're terrible lol
arnold is not a weight guy he is a body shaper like women are shapers. arnie being the figure head for strength contests is a joke. especially since he is smoking like a drunkard. crap.
Their shit must clog the toilet
Adam Derks, 23 years old and looks like 33. So...weight lifting is not that healthy after all...
This is the competition where you can do as many steroids as you want.
